Sorry but PvP is fail , almost as much as PvE lately. Titles and ranks are grind. People that have only had 100 hours in HA, GvG can probably beat your ass. The same goes for people that have 6,000 hours. Get a life at that point. Time is not equal to skill and Skill > Time. Get over it.

I don't promote titles or grind, i don't get why you think i do. It's just people that moan against rank discrimination annoy me, i personally never bother HAing without people i know and therefore never do it myself.

The bolded section of your post, do you mean 100 hour HA players can probably beat my guild in GvG? Who knows but i don't think it would.

The one type of player I hate are the ones in pvp (Mainly in AB) who, when you kill them, have to nerve to spout off about how much of a noob you are and complain about whether or not your build is on wiki.

Sure balance is pretty bad, but it's plenty playable still. Saying there's a complete lack is completely overstating the problem.

GvG is far from what it's been, but nowhere near dead for euro AT's (4/5 round each evening) and evening ladder. Plus mAT's are holding 50+ guilds (except month before last). Can't speak for HA.

That's far above totally dead.

QFT! I hate Runescape in the extreme, but there's no way I would spend any time on RS forums bitching about it. I just move on.

The players I really dislike the most are those who feel they have to prove to the rest of the players (usually a PUG) that they really know what they're doing and where they're going so they run ahead, aggro a huge mob and promptly die.

Next, I really dislike it when someone dies (usually because they're being 'tards) in the middle of the battle and they start with the "rez plox" then get angry that the monk doesn't hop to it when it's obvious that if the monk rezzes them they will die again instantly, or the monk is otherwise occupied keeping the rest of the gang alive. Learn some patience already.

There. That's my whining for the day. And yes, I feel better, thank you.

I don't really see how disliking players who use incorrect grammar/spelling is elitist. I am far more tolerant of "noobs" than most of the numbskulls I encounter, and I come across a lot of both doing FoWSC.

The game is 5 years old. If you weren't able to get a rank in 5 years, you should probably stay away from PVP. If you weren't interested enough to get a rank, well then why do you care. Look at the tards who have r9 now. If you can't compete with them, PVP is just not for you.

my bad then. I didnt read the entire post you were quoting, just your post and the exert that you chose to quote, so i must have missed the bigger picture of what was being discussed.

1. Why do you automatically assume everyone started the game upon the release of prophecies? A very large proportion of the community is not 5 years old and there are new players joining the game everyday.

2. You also can't automatically assume that people who have been playing the game for five years have been pvping that entire time. I only started pvping awhile after i started playing, and i didnt actually try HA for the first time until much later.

I certainly hope you arnt as ignorant as your post makes you out to be. Most of the rank discrimination moaners arnt 5 year old pvp players, they are newer players who are trying to get into pvp.

Even if you just got the game, there have been many threads about how to get into HA. A new person complaining about rank discrimination would only be doing so because they don't know enough to know that it's not rank discrimination that's holding them back.
For a person who's not new to the game, whining about rank discrimination is just making excuses. Lots of people have done it, if you cannot, the problem really is on your end. FFS the last time I was in HA, the best monks I saw were the henchies. All you have to do now is forehead-roll on a melee bar. If that's too hard for you, I don't know what to tell you, maybe go back to PVE and wait for SF to get buffed again so you can pay people to win the game for you. The skill level required to play HA is at it's lowest ever, and that's saying a lot.
I haven't played HA regularly in going on 3 years, and I'm still amazed that people make the same excuses.

Im not saying the skill level there is tough at all. Im a relative newbie to pvp in general and iv won halls in a friend's group fairly recently. I know perfectly well that rank =/= skill but many in HA dont and they want you to have a title if you are going to join their pug or guild.

Friend's group = the right way to do it.
Pug = mostly the wrong way or, at the least, 's the least optimal way to do it.
Guild = join with friends. It you join a guild filled with people you think are asshats, you quite likely won't have any success there, unless you consider raging, swallowing bs or getting kicked to be success.
